Fosélios - Prosecco Superiore Valdobbiadene DOCG 2023 Brut, together with Ruiol Castei - Prosecco Superiore DOCG 2023 Extra Dry, write a new page in the history of the best labels of the Falstaff Prosecco Trophy 2024 Competition: the two flagship wines from the Veneto-based winery are awarded scores of 93 and 92 points.

Fosélios - Prosecco Superiore Valdobbiadene D.O.C.G. Brut, the latest jewel crafted by Follador Prosecco dal 1769 and standard bearer for the sustainable initiatives recently implemented by the winery based in Col San Martino, brings home yet another prestigious accolade. In their latest edition of the Falstaff Prosecco Trophy 2024, the long-established German-language wine magazine awarded the prestigious label an impressive 93 points.

Ruiol Castei - Prosecco Superiore D.O.C.G. 2023 Extra Dry also enjoyed a memorable vintage. Already holder of the title of Best Prosecco of 2020 at The Champagne & Sparkling Wine World Championships, it garnered a very noteworthy 92 points from the jury.

“We are grateful for the trust expressed by the international juries, and continue to face the new challenges of the Italian and global markets with determination,” states Cristina Follador, the winery's director of sales and marketing. “Our aim is to champion artisanal expertise and the superior quality of our wines, just as our forefathers taught us.” She concludes: “Our work is guided by our deep attachment to the wonderful land that surrounds us: the sunny aspect and optimum terroir of our hills impart aromatic notes of exceptional finesse.”

Testament to the prestige of the Follador family's winemaking tradition is demonstrated by the first honour bestowed by the Doge of Venice Alvise IV Mocenigo in 1769. This was in recognition of the commitment of the family’s ancestor Giovanni Follador to crafting a wine of exceptional quality, who had given over all his land to the growing of grapevines.

For over two centuries the Follador family has served as custodians, safeguarding the exclusivity of the Valdobbiadene Region (awarded World Heritage Site status in 2019), and passing down the value of this land and its privileged position across the generations. It’s an unbroken thread that has guided us throughout our 255-year history – a history that has seen us patiently dedicated to offering wine enthusiasts magnificent varieties of Prosecco DOCG – wines which today are valued and appreciated the world over.
