This year, Grappa al Prosecco will symbolise the 11-year-long partnership between Follador Prosecco and Fondazione Vialli e Mauro. From November 20 to December 31 2024, part of the proceeds from sales will go towards developing new therapeutic approaches for treating ALS and Cancer.
Two hearts beating in unison, a distillate pushing boundaries, solidarity as its foundation. This spirit marks the renewal this Christmas of the partnership between Follador Prosecco and Fondazione Vialli e Mauro, an association dedicated to advancing ALS research and supporting cancer prevention and treatment.
This year, Grappa di Prosecco will symbolise the partnership between these two organisations, which for the past 11 years have been committed to providing support for those suffering from these serious diseases. Presented in an elegant white wooden box with two tasting glasses, it represents the ideal surprise gift for your loved ones.
From November 20 to December 31 2024, proceeds from this exceptional release – celebrating values like empathy, respect, responsibility and cooperation – will be donated to the non-profit organisation founded by Gianluca Vialli and Massimo Mauro, supporting cutting-edge organisations in the fields of scientific research and approaches to therapy.
“For many years, we’ve partnered and shared the same vision for the future as Fondazione Vialli e Mauro: a vision of a world where excellence and innovation can bring about concrete changes,” says Cristina Follador, the company's sales and marketing director. “This support represents an investment in people, in families and in the hope that together, we can make a difference. We believe that Christmas is a time for reflection and action, which unites tradition and progress, so together we can build a brighter tomorrow."
Massimo Mauro, president of the Foundation, says: “For the eleventh year now the Follador family has chosen to express the true essence of Christmas, meaning solidarity, and we’re immensely proud and grateful for their decision, which for us represents concrete, invaluable support. Indeed, it’s thanks to such initiatives that our Foundation can continue to pursue the aims that are at the heart of the commitment that Gianluca and I undertook twenty years ago now. And it’s precisely initiatives of this nature that allow us to reach goals such as the one we achieved on Monday 21 October when we donated an innovative endoscopy machine to the Candiolo-RCCS Oncology Centre to help their pancreatic tumour diagnosis project. This was the 25th goal we’ve achieved and was made possible thanks to the outstanding teamwork of all our supporters and friends."
As always, part of the proceeds from the “Collection Image” Hat Boxes – featuring a choice of five Follador Prosecco D.O.C.G.s – along with a percentage of the proceeds from the individual bottles sold in the online shop, will be donated to the solidarity project, bringing joy to festive celebrations throughout the Christmas season. It’s a commitment the Follador family, ambassadors of the winemaking heritage of Valdobbiadene for over 250 years, happily renews every year, to foster the spirit of participation among connoisseurs of its wines, and to blend tradition with a forward-thinking approach.
