Follador Prosecco & Bollicine di strada together again

After last year's success, the "Bollicine di Strada" mobile catering pod is back, ready to serve up many evenings of fun at Italy's foremost Street Food Festivals. This year, turning each event into a fresh, unique experience is Follador Prosecco's latest triumph, Fosélios Brut D.O.C.G., which premièred at Vinitaly, and the Ca' dei Noni Line, paying homage to previous generations and the craft and knowledge that’s been passed down through them.

The bond between Follador Prosecco dal 1769 and the “Bollicine di strada” project, conceived last year by Massimo Morelli with Nicolò Barbisotti, is further consolidated. This special catering pod dedicated exclusively to sparkling wines and endorsed by the Col San Martino company is back on the road, full of new surprises for the public and connoisseurs alike, for a fun, carefree journey in great company, as it tours Italy's most eminent Street Food Festivals.

The dates to make note of are as follows: we kick off with the “Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride” in Varese on 22 May, the rally for elegantly dressed motorcyclists who gather to raise money for the fight against prostate cancer; from 26 to 29 May at Darsena Pop in Palazzolo sull’Oglio (Brescia), a summer festival by the river; from 2 to 5 June in Correggio (Reggio Emilia) for the Festa Patronale di San Quirino; Quality Street Food from 10 to 12 June in Belgioioso (Pavia); from 16 to 19 June at Darsena POP in Palazzolo sull’Oglio (Brescia); from 8 to 10 July in Angera (Varese) where Italy’s aerobatic display team, the Frecce Tricolori, will be putting on a display; Eatinero in Brivio (Lecco) from 15 to 17 July and Aosta Eventi (22-24 July in Morgex; from 29 to 31 July in Gressoney; from 5 to 7 August in Gaby and from 12 to 14 August in Pila).

Turning each event into an entirely unique experience for the public, the products on offer will also now include the Ca' dei Noni Line composed of a range of white wines, such as Lugana, and selected reds, including a Valpolicella Ripasso, produced using only native grapes. Literally meaning “Grandparents’ House” the line pays homage to previous generations and the craft and knowledge that’s been passed down through them: a current yet timeless model.

And maintaining this high standard is Follador Prosecco’s latest triumph, Fosélios Brut D.O.C.G., a spumante recently presented at Vinitaly and Prowein that’s particularly suited to younger people thanks to its freshness on the palate, with notes of green apple; and, of course, there’s also the Cru Torri di Credazzo, Xzero D.O.C.G. Extra Brut, Nani dei Berti D.O.C.G Brut and the Laelia Prosecco D.O.C. Rosé.

There’s a new food accompaniment to go with the wines this year, “Divin Pasta”: fresh pasta cooked, tossed and served there and then by the chef.

Bollicine di Strada’s success last year exceeded all expectations, and we’re expecting the public will love it even more in 2022 - explained Cristina Follador, the company's sales and marketing director - it’s a pleasure for us to be able to meet our customers on the road, kicking off the year’s sunny season with renewed enthusiasm.

Massimo Morelli, project coordinator and Brand Ambassador for Follador Prosecco, declared: “We’ve already seen an incredible increase in the number of events we’re participating in, and the demand for us to cater for private events is astronomical. We’re looking forward to many evenings of celebration and fun with Follador Prosecco wines and we’ll certainly raise a toast with a glass of Fosélios Brut D.O.C.G. and a plate of delicious accompanying food from our new Divin Pasta project”.

With international trade fairs now reopening and our significant involvement in Vinitaly and Prowein, 2022 promises, in all respects, to be a big reboot year for Follador Prosecco, with conviviality and fun returning as the centre of all focus and life for the company. Throughout the summer, “Bollicine di Strada” will continue to greet the public, conveying the tireless commitment and quest for ever-new tastes of a family united, since 1769, in its long-standing winemaking tradition.
